What is Chiropractic
Chiropractic is a holistic approach to health using manipulations and adjustments to help speed up the healing process without invasive treatments, such as unnecessary surgeries and medications. While these remedies sometimes appear effective, they only mask the problems and never reach the real root. Chiropractors are known for treating back pain from the neck down. What many people might not know, is that we can also help with headaches, nerve pain, joints, muscle strains, ligament sprains, acute injuries, chronic pain, etc. During the treatment process, you can expect pain reduction, increased range of motion, and decreased muscle tension.
A chiropractic appointment will consist of the initial evaluation of the patient where they will receive an accurate diagnosis for their concern. Sometimes this might require additional testing, but once we arrive at the diagnosis you will feel informed and involved in your individualized treatment plan. This will include: how we are going to treat the concern, how long it will take to find relief, what you can expect along the way, and answers to any other questions you may have. We want you to first and foremost relieve your pain but also educate you on your body so you can learn where pain comes from and more effective ways to keep the body healthy.

What is Acupuncture
Acupuncture is a component of Chinese medicine that involves inserting very fine needles into specific points on the body to help with the healing process and restoring balance. These points are based on Meridians and are aligned with different organs, that if disrupted can lead to an illness or pain. Treatment using these points can help balance the body's energy, enhance circulation, reduce inflammation, and trigger the release of endorphins and other neurochemicals to help promote healing.

Some conditions that Acupuncture can benefit, are pain management of chronic pain, headaches and migraines, joint pain, musculoskeletal issues, digestive problems, stress, anxiety, mental health, menstrual irregularities, fertility, sinus issues, fatigue, and addiction.

Rehabilitation
Rehabilitation is an important part of Chiropractic care. While a chiropractic adjustment will offer relief of pain, through the actions of daily lifestyles and posture the pain can come back. Throughout care patients will receive a comprehensive approach to recovery from not only the adjustment, but also soft tissue therapies and exercises to promote healing and restore function. These will help with additional pain relief, increased mobility, strengthening of muscles, and aide in the prevention future injuries.

Rehab exercises help treat acute injuries like sprains, strains, whiplash injuries, while increasing functional movement, strengthening muscles, correction of posture, restoration of balance and coordination, and support of long term health and wellness.

Nutrition
The body is made up of many different cells and these cells play crucial roles in maintaining overall health and well-being. They support a wide range of bodily functions, so deficiencies or imbalances can lead to health issues. Some benefits include: immune function, energy, bone health, muscle function, brain and mental function, improvement in sleep, prevention of chronic disease, and weight maintenance. What you eat and put into your body becomes the building blocks that your body needs to stay healthy.
